J.R.E.A.C.H. Cultivate Food Rescue Volunteer Community Service
We are taking a maximum of 20 people to Cultivate Food Rescue. We will be serving and helping there from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Pickup will be between 8:30 and 9:00 AM.
A signup sheet will be available in our weekly meeting prior to the event. Normal evening class times will continue after this event; we will still meet at One Roof at 6:00 PM.
Join J.R.E.A.C.H. for a morning of service, fellowship, and hands-on outreach as we help feed our community through Cultivate Food Rescue.
J.R.E.A.C.H. Nelsons Chicken Fundraiser
Us and our members will be teaming up with Nelson’s Port-a-Pit Chicken on June 6. We’ll be set up on the corner of Cleveland Road in South Bend. The website will be updated soon with the exact location, the specific event time, and when tickets will be available for sale and distribution.
Our members will be serving and managing check-in for all customers. More information is coming—please stay tuned for updates. This is the day we will be holding the event.
J.R.E.A.C.H. Humane Society of St Joseph County Volunteer event
At J.R.E.A.C.H., we’re serving our community by volunteering at the Humane Society of St. Joseph County. This all-day event will involve helping around the facility—tending the grounds, assisting with maintenance tasks, and supporting their staff as part of the local animal care community.
Sign-ups will be available at Saturday meetings. Space is limited: we can take only 20 members for this event. If you plan to join, please add your name to the list at the meeting as soon as possible so we can finalize logistics.
What to bring/wear:
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
Work gloves (if you have them)
Water and a packed lunch
Any required J.R.E.A.C.H. volunteer release forms (if applicable)

J.R.E.A.C.H. Swan Lake Fireworks Event
Join us for the 2026 Independence Day fireworks at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana! This popular, free public event features a spectacular fireworks display over the golf course, with food trucks, vendors, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We invite all members and visitors of J.R.E.A.C.H. Freedom from Addiction Services to come celebrate together—bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable evening under the stars.
Transportation and seating information:
The J.R.E.A.C.H. church van will be available to provide rides for our members to and from the event.
Seats in the band are limited to 12–15 people, so space is limited for those specific spots.
We will also have other volunteers providing rides. If you are able to drive, we encourage you to drive yourself to help ensure everyone who can attend is able to.
If you need a ride, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can coordinate transportation.

These sessions encourage sharing, mutual support, and faith-rooted connection as participants explore causes, coping strategies, and biblical perspectives on healing.
Week 4: Comprehensive lesson that reviews and integrates themes and insights from the previous weeks. This lesson deepens understanding, reinforces practical tools, and highlights the spiritual journey toward recovery through Christ.
